Chicago Award in Architecture Student Design Competition

I have been selected to represent Washington University in the Chicago Award in Architecture Student Design Competition. The competition recognizes and promotes the pursuit of design excellence in architecture. The competition is limited to a few pre-selected Midwest architecture schools.

The competition program is open to studio work completed by architecture student in their final year of undergraduate work or in graduate school.

I am entering my spring semester’s work, an eco-industrial and workforce housing building reuse project. The building is the Peerless Building located in downtown St. Louis along the historic riverfront.

I am also submitting my BIM and energy analysis from the sustainable class as part of the entry.

The competition deadline is July 11th.
